Have you wondered if you have what it takes to become a member of the AAA Board of Directors or to run for an AAA leadership position?
Here’s what you need to do to determine if you or a colleague are qualified.
Review the AAA Board and leadership position descriptions and the election timetable.
Review the AAA Strategic Plan.
Assess your qualifications based on Checklist A: 10 Questions for Board Members and Potential Board Members to Ask Themselves and Honestly Answer.
Review the sample election brochure showing recent candidate's statements.
Still interested? Think that you’re qualifed? If so, send your CV and candidate statement to AAA and be sure to note which position you are interested in. You can also nominate a colleague, student, or postdoc you think would be perfect for the job!
Nominations are due to AAA by September 10th.
Nominee CVs and candidate statements are due to AAA by September 20th.
