The International Journal of Osteoarchaeology provides a forum for the publication of papers dealing with all aspects of the study of human and animal bones from archaeological contexts. The journal has a particular focus on paleopathology; physical anthropology; epidemiology; chemical analysis; exploitation of animal resources; and taphonomy. The journal publishes original papers dealing with human or animal bone research, and short papers giving important preliminary observations from works in progress. The journal also publishes book reviews.
