Changes in curricular strategies continue to challenge educators in the anatomical sciences at every level.
This special issue of The New Anatomist (The Anatomical Record, Vol. 269(2), April 2002) presents a collection of articles that will stimulate the thinking of individuals involved in anatomical science education at all stages - undergraduate teaching, medical student instruction, and training of residents and practicing clinical professionals. The articles provide key insights and survey analyses from some of today's foremost anatomy educators regarding the enhancement of educational programs in Gross Anatomy, Histology, Neuroscience, and Embryology.
