Anatomy Lab Assistant The Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM) invites applications for the position of Anatomy Lab Assistant. The Anatomy Lab Assistant for ACOM is responsible for meeting the day to day requirements of all facilities that fall under the supervision of the ACOM Anatomy Department. The Anatomical Lab Assistant will participate in the Willed Body Donor program, and the preparation and maintenance of human anatomical specimens (cadavers) that are used by students, residents, and faculty in a variety of education and clinical programs. This position will also provide logistical support required to assist faculty and students with their program needs, maintain gross laboratory facility as needed and performs other duties as assigned by the Chair of Anatomy. Position Requirements: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Experience in an academic laboratory and experience with human cadaver is preferred.
