Boston University summer Medical Gross Anatomy and Embryology course
The course consists of 180 class hours, including laboratory dissection, lecture, discussions, and 3 exams. Six credit hours will be given. Embryology is an important part of the course and is integrated into each region.

Cold Spring Harbor Courses
Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory offers around thirty different one and two week courses on a variety of biological research topics in the spring, summer, and fall.

Colorado Community Colleges Online
Human anatomy and physiology courses offered for credit online, with mandatory hands-on lab.

Dalhousie University Distance Education
Offers Basic Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, and Human Physiology online courses.

Darling Marine Center, University of Maine Courses
Some courses are accredited courses of the University of Maine geared toward upper level undergraduate and graduate students, while others are aimed at postdoctoral fellows and professionals looking to hone their laboratory techniques and teaching skills. Currently no anatomy courses are offered, however a Developmental Biology summer courses is available.

The online medical remediation courses in Neuroscience, Gross Anatomy, Microanatomy, and Embryology are administered through the web, utilizing the Blackboard Vista Learning System to deliver content to students at their home computer.

FASEB Summer Research Conferences
The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor medical education for physicians. Up to 30 hours of Category I Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits will be offered based on attendance at these conferences.

Georgetown Summer Medical Institutue Human Gross Anatomy
Human Gross Anatomy is an intensive 6 week course that covers all aspects of human anatomy through lectures, followed by practical application using full cadaveric dissection performed by students. In addition, imaging techniques including CT scans and x-rays are used to introduce the student to the physician's perspective.

HAPS Institute
Professional continuing education for professors of human anatomy and/or physiology at all levels of instruction. Graduate biology courses (2-3 credits) offered at summer conference, workshops, or online.

Indiana University Basic Human Anatomy for Undergraduates
Intended for science majors. An organ systems approach to the study of the human body, including microscopic and gross structure (offered every Fall, Spring and Summer II sessions.)

Johns Hopkins Summer Institute in Human Anatomy for Undergraduates
June 6-July 1, 2011. This four week course meets for 4 hours each day, 5 days a week. It is designed to give undergraduate students an introduction to all aspects of human anatomy, and includes demonstrations using human cadavers.

Marquette University Gross Dissection of the Upper Extremity
July 13-16, 2011. This course consists of an intensive four-day anatomical dissection and kinesiological review.

Marquette University Neuroanatomical Dissection: Human Brain and Spinal Cord
July 21-23, 2011. This course consists of a three-day anatomical dissection of the brain and spinal cord, as well as a compelling review of recent advances in functional neuroscience. Participants will work in groups (3) and will be allotted three afternoons to perform regional dissections on embalmed human cadaveric material.

Tulane University School of Medicine Summer Histology Course
A comprehensive 5-week individualized remediation course in theoretical and practical Cell Biology and Histology for medical and dental students enrolled in medical or dental school. It also includes a self- administered pre-test (when a student is accepted onto the course), the results of which are used for individualized approaches to teaching during the course. Course Dates: 06/6/11 to 07/8/11

Human Anatomy and Physiology online offered through the Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition in the College of Applied Health Sciences.

University of Louisville Summer Gross Anatomy Course
Medical Gross Anatomy and Medical Head and Neck Anatomy Courses.

University of Nebraska Summer Teaching Institute
The Department of Genetics, Cell Biology and Anatomy offers complete courses of intensive study in the disciplines of Cell Biology/Histology, Human Gross Anatomy, and Medical Neuroscience. These courses run for; five weeks for the cell biology/histology course, six weeks for the human gross anatomy course, and four weeks for the neuroscience course. Each course consists of lecture and laboratory instruction supplemented by an extensive audiovisual collection and numerous computer and videodisk programs. All labs are completely computerized.

July 26-29, 2011 in Atlanta, GA.  A summer course/workshop that promotes the study of vascular biology.  It is designed to present an overview of the field and future areas of active research. 

York College of Pennsylvania
Department of Biological Sciences offers Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II during the summer months. Each semester is 5 weeks long, with labs every day (4 days a week) for 2 hours each and lecture is 2 hours each day.
