We invite applications for a tenure eligible Assistant Professor faculty position in Anatomy and Neuroanatomy. The individual will join a team of anatomists who teach courses for students in a number of post-graduate degree programs. The Department of Cell and Developmental Biology is one of seven basic science departments in the School of Medicine on the Anschutz Medical Campus at the University of Colorado. The primary missions of the Department are education, service, and research.
The responsibilities for this faculty position include teaching NeuroAnatomy and Gross Anatomy, service, scholarship, and anatomy or education research. Evidence of productive scholarship and/or research in the respective area of expertise would strengthen the application. This position is for an Anatomist with expertise in the head and neck, and neuroanatomy. Teaching in other areas of interest (histology and/or embryology) may also be available. Candidates must have earned a Ph.D or M.D./D.O. degree, and have previous experience in teaching cadaver-based Gross Anatomy. The successful candidates will be involved in teaching Medical, Dental, Anesthesiology Assistant, or Masters in Modern Human Anatomy students.
