Only completed nominations received by the deadline will be considered. Please note that both the nominator and the nominee for this award must be current AAA members. All successfully submitted nominations may be considered for three years.

The following materials must be submitted: Be sure that all necessary information is included.

Detailed letter of recommendation:* Your letter of recommendation (maximum 2 pages) must address both the teaching and scholarship accomplishments of the nominee. AAA will then contact the person you have nominated to request two (2) additional letters of recommendation. Of the overall three (3) letters of recommendation, including your letter, at least one must be from a former student or postdoctoral fellow with an established career. At least one must be must be from the nominee's chair, chief, or dean (supervisor) and must document the quality of the nominee's teaching contributions. (This latter requirement that one letter be from a supervisor may be waived if the nominee is an AAA Emeritus Member; however, three (3) letters are still needed.)
