International Travel Award: Building Community Scholarship

To fund members, at all career stages, who are based at international institutions (excluding US and Canada) to attend and present at the Annual Meeting. 

Criteria and Eligibility

  • Must be a current member 
  • This award requires an abstract submission for the AAA Annual Meeting.  Click here for more information on abstract submission. 
  • Materials submitted by applicant: 
    • One (1) page letter of intent describing the anticipated presentation and professional development and networking opportunities available to the applicant
    • CV (NIH biosketch format preferred) not to exceed 5 pages
    • One (1) page statement of need describing how this travel award will be of benefit.
  • Reviewed by the Ambassador Committee  

Priority will be given to those in financial need and first-time attendees to Anatomy Connected.

Funding

6 awards will be funded for $2,000 Travel to AAA Annual Meeting (in the form of a reimbursement after the meeting); travel funds cannot be used in conjunction with another travel award or recognition award.
