Meet Christine Ross

Christine Ross New Executive Director

Most recently the Founder of C. Ross Associates, a consultancy focused on transformation management, Christine has served as a President & CEO throughout her career and as a respected board member with associations and government partners.  She has been actively involved in broad-ranging legislative advocacy at the state and federal levels working frequently with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Manufacturers on regulatory reform, infrastructure funding, improving the business climate and ensuring a diverse workforce.  In 2014, she received the coveted Certified Chamber Executive (C.C.E.) designation from the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. In 2017, she was awarded the Distinguished Alumna Award from the University of Maryland Global Campus and was selected for the Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100 (CCC100), an elite group of chamber executives representing the perspectives and needs of businesses and non-profits across the United States.  She has deep experience in advocacy, strategic planning, team building, board governance and excellence initiatives.  With a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Marketing, she brings depth of knowledge backed by continuous learning to her new role as Executive Director of the American Association for Anatomy.  Christine has three adult sons and lives in Annapolis with her husband, Robert, who teaches middle school science, and an energetic Irish Red and White Setter named Cooper.  The family enjoys biking, music, reading and home improvement projects.
