Fellow

The rank of Fellow of the American Association for Anatomy (FAAA) is designed to honor distinguished members who have demonstrated excellence in science and in their overall contributions to the anatomical sciences and to AAA.

Criteria and Eligibility

  • Must be a member of for 4 or more years.
  • Fellows receive a certificate and lapel pin, are recognized at the Annual Meeting Awards Ceremony, and may network with others as a member of the Fellows Circle. At any given time, no more than 10% of all regular members may be deemed Fellows.
  • Submission of Candidate's CV documenting evidence of outstanding scholarship, and statement of service or contributions  to AAA.
  • Members who have demonstrated outstanding scholarship, whether as excellence in research or teaching, are eligible to be named an AAA Fellow. Service to the Association is required and will be considered.
