Anatomy Education Research Institute (AERI)

Special Announcement

In light of the COVID-19 crisis and the uncertainties this imposes on future planning, the AERI Planning Committee and AAA have reluctantly decided to postpone AERI 2020. We are working to reschedule it for 2021. We sincerely regret having to postpone the event, but believe it is the most prudent course of action. More information will be forthcoming as we work to reschedule AERI for 2021!

What is AERI?

This intensive four-day conference will partner leaders in STEM and medical education research with mentees interested in improving their teaching and educational research skills. Participants will actively engage in evidence-based teaching pedagogies, assessments, and educational research/inquiry. In addition, AERI provides significant face-to-face time and opportunities for discussion, collaboration, and networking among participants and field leaders.

Who should attend?

AERI has been specifically designed for individuals who have very little or no experience with educational research, but who are deeply invested in moving in that direction.

Where is it?

Bloomington, Indiana

When is it?

2021 (exact dates TBD)

What do past participants say about AERI?

This was by far the BEST conference I have ever attended. It was so focused and meaningful.
