Abstract Topic Categories

Would you like to be selected for an oral talk? 45% of our oral presentations will be selected from abstract submissions in the following categories:  educational research, cell biology, developmental biology, ethics, morphology, biological anthropology, cardiovascular, comparative anatomy, neurobiology, and regeneration.

Virtual Posters are back - If you cannot attend the meeting in-person, you can submit an abstract to be considered for a virtual poster presentation.

New this year - We have updated our abstract topic categories and added new submission categories. Authors will first select their submission category as either a Research-based abstract or a Descriptive-based abstract.  Then you will select the appropriate topic category.  Select the category you think fits best. If you are not sure, select one of the 2 general categories - Anatomical Sciences or Education.  The programming committees will review all abstracts and program it within the category that they feel fits best.

Research-based Abstract - an empirical investigation with data that contributes to scientific investigation, anatomical sciences education research and practice.
Descriptive-based Abstract - includes case reports, program descriptions, procedures, and historical works. Descriptive abstracts do not have an evaluation/methods requirement.
