Endocrine Society Partners with AAA and Other Organizations to Protect NIH

ROCKVILLE, MD—January 20, 2026—The American Association for Anatomy (AAA) alongside 140 organizations, joined a letter led by Endocrine Society urging Congressional leaders to finalize a FY26 Labor-HHS funding bill that protects NIH and provides the Senate-approved funding level of at least $48.7 billion. NIH-supported research saves lives through advances in cancer, diabetes, and hematology while prolonged uncertainty undermines progress and U.S. leadership in health innovation.
